ENRICHMENT:
Students continued their research on the background of Alcatraz, San Francisco and Fisherman's Wharf.  They will be presenting their findings next week in the form of a short power point presentation.

LANGUAGE ARTS:
The students finished taking notes on the literary terms for our novel study.  If you didn't get all of the notes, you can copy or print them from the vocabulary tab on this web site.  Some classes also made predictions concerning the topic and events that will occurr in our novel The Light in the Forest.  Tomorrow we will work on the vocabulary for the book, learn some of the biographical information about the author and background information about one of the intangible pieces of the setting.
